About My Clients
You’re looking for an approachable therapist who can help you build a better life for yourself. Someone who you can feel deeply seen by, who will celebrate your wins, walk beside you when life gets tough, and who can help you to find a better way to relate to yourself and the world around you. Whether you have been struggling with low self esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or finding your path in life, I can help.
How I Can Help You
The walls that you put up to protect you from pain also block you from feeling joy, peace, and connection. You deserve to feel happiness and to know that you have a place in this world. Someone may have pushed you into the water, but it is your job now to learn to swim - I can help. I can teach you to care for yourself and can help you heal from your past. You don't need to live with that constantly critical voice being in control of your life. You don’t need to stay trapped inside yourself or your past experiences. I have the training and skills necessary to help you find relief and to build a life that feels worth living. It's possible for you to thrive and not just survive each day. I am able to help you find deep healing and relief through my use of EMDR, combined with DBT, and mindfulness, in a way that talk therapy alone is not able to do. As a certified yoga instructor, I also bring my holistic understanding of the mind body connection into my therapautic work.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
I am open, nonjudgmental, and insightful. I will work with and support you so that you can feel less alone and guide you to develop a calmer baseline. Let me help you slow down and breathe. I want to support you in building yourself back up by teaching you skills to take your power back. My aim is to help you enjoy your life, move towards what matters to you, and develop fulfilling relationships. I will be your advocate and will help you find a new way of looking at and treating yourself. I am actively engaged in therapy and do not just sit back and listen.
