Life can be very challenging. As human beings, we carry stressors that add to the physical weight of the things we are already juggling. The weight of our emotions can sometimes create threats to our well-being. Therapy can be the foundation from which individuals navigate the weight of those heavy emotions they have been carrying. My goal as a psychotherapist is to help my clients expand their awareness around the complexities of life by providing practical strategies to help them cope.
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families, although I have experience with a wide range of client populations. I combine evidence-based interventions, including mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy to address patterns that may affect my clients cognitive, emotional, and social development.
