My Background and Approach

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment with an open and accepting attitude that will allow you to explore your most authentic self and grow to your potential. I try to create an empowering experience and meet you where you are. I stay curious and compassionate and try to mix in a little sense of humor. I believe the more we know and understand about our defenses and patterns, the better we are at making decisions that can lead to a healthier, more fruitful and creative life. I offer sliding scale services and train every week in Interpersonal Neurobiology to bring the latest research driven processes to our work so that you can build the self you want.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We live in a world that encourages us to cut off from our feelings, from our sense of being truly alive. When we do this, we become rigid, anxious, depressed and empty. I am passionate about helping people reconnect to their bodies so that they can become aware of themselves, reconnect with the people they love and find a more flexible and whole way of living. This reconnection helps create self-compassion, which research shows is the most efficient and thorough way to create change.
