About My Clients
I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, OCD, & other related concerns. Anxiety is a normal response by the body to help you cope with life's challenging situations; however, it can become an issue when it starts interfering with your work, school, & relationships. Anxiety can interfere with your enjoyment of life in a variety of ways, and we can help you to improve your quality of life so that you're no longer limited by your anxiety.
My Background and Approach
My counseling style is warm, open, & compassionate. I take a nonjudgmental approach & aim to create a safe space for my clients to work on their concerns at their own pace. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness based approaches in my practice. I hold two graduate degrees from Columbia University in New York City, and I am a professional member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA). I believe in treating each person I work with as an individual with specific needs, & aim to work collaboratively with each client to empower them to identify existing skills, build new coping skills, and reach their goals.
