I have worked with perpetrators and victims of sexual abuse and sexual assault. Removing the shame and guilt associated with the stigma of sexual assault is one of my passions. It takes a lot of courage to seek help with the myriad of psychological issues that arise as a result of sexual assault. My hope is to provide an environment of peace, comfort, and hope to the victims of sexual assault so they can begin to take back their internal narrative.
I have worked as a the clinical director of an inpatient rehabilitation center for substance abuse issues for the last 7 years. Over the course of my career, I've had the opportunity to help teens and adults struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction, and other process addictions. I have been working with adolescents in an outpatient setting over the course of the last 7 years. I seen adolescents struggle with: anxiety, depression, panic attacks, suicidal ideation, self-harm, pornography addiction, sexual addiction, alcoholism, and drug addiction. I have also worked with parents to help set healthy boundaries with video games and internet use in the home. I have also worked with client's questioning their sexuality or gender.
