About My Clients
Sometimes asking for help is the hardest thing we can do. Getting bogged down by responsibilities and stress can lead us to feel overwhelmed and not good enough. Together we can change that. I invest wholeheartedly in my clients to build a safe, nurturing relationship where clients can feel safe, supported and valued. My goal is for each client to leave my office with the confidence that they are worthy, loved and capable of achieving the healing and peace they deserve.
My Background and Approach
I started practicing in 2016 working with college and graduate level students in university settings. I transitioned from academia to the San Francisco County foster care system where I provided individual, family and court mandated therapies addressing the trauma foster youth and their families were experiencing. Prior to private practice, I worked for a mental health start up company providing individual therapy and clinical assessments for adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. I am passionate about helping people work through anxiety, traumatic experiences and relationship challenges. When we go through stressful times, our internal systems can get thrown off balance and it can be challenging to help the body realize that the stress is over. Therapy can help provide the corrective experience our bodies and minds need to return to baseline.
