I’m here to offer you a safe, honest, constructive space where we can unpack the things that are holding you back. I use therapeutic approaches grounded in research, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness based practices. Therapy is a space where you and I can collaboratively develop new tools and techniques that will help you participate in your life according to what is most important to you. I’ll meet you where you are - fears, tears, stress, messiness, and all - and help you move toward the life you want to lead.
It can be so hard to decide to come to therapy, but in this space, you can feel free to share anything - you’ll be met with non-judgment and compassion. By deciding to care for yourself in this way, you’re not being too selfish, too needy, or too sensitive. I believe that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy, no matter whether you’re greatly struggling or looking for further personal growth. Though my training and education informs how I approach therapy, I don’t believe in positioning myself as the expert on your life. I’ll instead offer you space and support so you can determine how to move through the world in the way that is most meaningful to you.
