My Background and Approach
I have experience working with individuals and couples figuring out their relationship to their bodies, sexuality, sex, and intimacy. I help to support couples strengthen their relationship. Additionally, I have experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community and I identify as a poly-affirming therapist that offers insight into your relationship dynamics. I also have experience working with individuals and couples who have experienced sexual trauma or recurrent miscarriage loss.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
As a therapist, I strive to create a warm and engaging environment to identify and explore your concerns, so we can work towards your goals. My approach is compassionate, down to earth, funny (at least I think so), and individualized to your needs. You can expect freedom from judgement and a safer space to explore what is showing up in your life. I’m trained in several evidence-based approaches and I am results oriented. Connecting with a therapist can feel scary. During our initial phone consult I talk my time and listen to make sure we are a good fit. If you resonated with anything I mentioned above please feel free to give me a call to schedule a consultation. I am Licensed in Rhode Island and New York. I work under the supervision of Comisar Psychotherapy Group- Supervisor: David Comisar, LCSW-R.
