I work with adolescents and adults struggling with disordered eating, poor body image, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I help individuals work through uncomfortable feelings and break negative behavioral patterns. I teach clients coping skills for lasting relief so that you can go on to live the life you've always imagined and hoped for. I have an eclectic approach in therapy, and I utilize the skill set that will fit your needs. I am trained in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher, so I utilize mindfulness and relaxation practices often in my work. There is not a "one-size-fits-all" approach in therapy, so I feel that it is helpful to have a large toolbox to pull from when working with a diverse range of clients. All in all, it is most important to me that you as a client understand that our time together is YOURS -- I have no agenda, other than to just provide the support that you may need in that moment.
