We exist within the framework of many systems on many levels. We increase our self understanding by exploring the systems that have influenced us and that impact our lives on a daily basis. This work allows us to see, sometimes for the first time, the ways that we have been taught to be human. We may realize that we no longer wish to carry on the traits handed to us by certain systems. We may choose to embrace or let go of parts of ourselves that we may have previously not known to explore.
My approach to attachment includes the early attachment bonds that you experienced with caregivers as well as those that have been established later in your life. By understanding these relationships, we can identify strengths, patterns, and wounds that you may or may not know are impacting you on a variety of levels. You may or may not have been given the physical or emotional support that you needed when you were young. I am here to provide that experience for you in an environment that is nurturing, safe, and ready for you.
My somatic training supports me in facilitating connection between your thoughts, feelings, and internal emotional experience. Science shows us that your mind goes beyond the confines of your brain - it is your entire nervous system. Every emotion that you feel begins with a signal somewhere inside of your body. Connecting with these signals can open new pathways in your mind that lead to freedom, healing, and peace.
When you lose someone you love, your life is forever changed. My training and knowledge provide me with the capacity to support you in your own transformation as your journey through these experiences.
Whether you're looking to strengthen your relationship, decrease conflict, resolve sexual problems, or reevaluate your committment together, I can support and guide you toward resolution. I am LGBTQ affirming and welcome any and all clients who seek a safe and constructive place to work toward resolution in their relationship(s).
Postpartum depression and anxiety do not discriminate - estimates show that at least 20% of women who give birth are affected. For too long there has been stigma about postpartum depression/anxiety. I endeavor to validate the experiences of individuals who have adverse experiences related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
