My Background and Approach
Sanaz Amini is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with vast experience as a therapist for adolescents and adults. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Univerisity of Washington and her master’s degree in counseling psychology from City University of Seattle. Sanaz brings over 13 years of experience to Active Path Mental Health as a therapist. Sanaz is a part of Active Path’s therapy team practicing short-term cognitive-behavioral therapy. Each session focuses on a specific problem in an effort to guide patients toward results in a shorter timeframe than traditional talk therapy. Sanaz has experience collaborating with patients on treatment, goals, and behavior plans.
