About My Clients
My clients tend to have heard they "should" have more gratitude, self care, courage, vulnerability, love, etc. but can't seem to make it happen. Most of them have been through something and lost their old spark, energy, health, hope, or even desire to be around people. No amount of Brené Brown, yoga, manifesting positive things, etc. has truly helped them deeply care and love again. They're burned out, politics and news are draining them, and they need some help coming back to life.
My Background and Approach
I'm trained in trauma and energy work. What that means for you is that every session I'll help you put into practice mindfulness, mind-body work, trauma work, or energy work. I help you do the work to find change right in the session - not leaving you to try to "correct your thinking" or figure out some homework all alone. But the cool thing is that the skills we practice in session start to become second-nature to you. They become your own and you'll organically start implementing them in life without even realizing it because 1) you've gotten some great guided practice and 2) you will have overcome the things keeping you from implementing the changes in the first place. One of my favorite metaphors for making change or reaching goals is that we're not trying to help you infuse more blue into your sky. Your blue sky, your you-ness, is already within you. We just need to help you clear the clouds and weather obscuring it. You'll feel more like yourself when you feel better.
