EMDR is a great way to process past traumas safely. I find it is most helpful when a client gets stuck on a particular issue.
I like to use MI when I find that a client has a hard time seeing the good in their life. I want to bring that out because light attracts light. I want my client's to know that they have a strength inside of them sometimes it just hiding.
I know not everyone benefits from the same therapy style, which is why I want to change my style to best fit your needs.
