Having a therapist who you can be real with, and who you feel like understands you is key to making progress in therapy. For this reason, the foundation of therapy with me is one of acceptance, empathy, and non-judgement. You can be yourself here. At the same time, I am authentic with my clients and direct. I may gently challenge you at times. I believe we grow and heal when we confront our problems with courage, when we sit with tough emotions, and when we are honest with ourselves.
The shock of a breakup or divorce is real, whether you were together for a few months or a few decades. Whether it just happened last week, or it was years ago and you haven’t been yourself since, there is hope.
