About My Clients

I can help treat those who are working through depression, anxiety, and addiction; challenges with self-esteem and confidence; relationship issues around forming, ending, or sustaining meaningful connections with others; and anyone hoping to rediscover a sense of aliveness and play - to enrich their lives and more fully reach their potential.

My Background and Approach

The therapeutic relationship is the most essential part of any counseling design, and that relationship itself is a window into understanding the unique difficulties that bring us to therapy. With patience, acceptance, and humor, my approach seeks to bring awareness to why we feel and behave in the often painful and self-defeating ways we do, to develop clarity about the motives that often evade us, to identify and name our ways of avoiding psychological pain that impacts our relationships, and to grow freedom, resilience, joy, and purpose.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Sessions are relatively unstructured and do not adhere to a rigid agenda - you are invited to bring anything that feels most alive and poignant for you to any session. There is always more to be discovered about yourself, and this makes therapy full of surprises at what comes up organically in our relationship.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
