About My Clients
I enjoy helping clients understand their own story, which often results in changing their current narrative to one that is much more empowering. My hope is to see clients walk in greater freedom and see real changes happen in their life, while also enjoying this messy, yet beautiful process of healing! I believe that as we grow in self awareness and develop a deeper sense of identity, that shame, disappoiand negative beliefs no longer have the same power over us and we can thrive in life.
My Background and Approach
I enjoy the process of working together to see change! I want my clients to experience me as a real person, not just someone who sits and nods. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I'm EMDR trained and find it incredibly effective in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, low self esteem & other issues. Much of my training has been in trauma as I believe that we have all had traumatic experiences that have shaped who we are. Often we have unhealthy patterns of thinking as a result if these experiences. I also have specialized training in maternal mental health and enjoy working providing support for new and seasoned moms in the postpartum period and beyond. I also utilize the Enneagram as a tool for growth. The Enneagram is an incredible tool to increase self awareness and personal growth. With 27 different personality types, it doesn't put you in a box but rather helps bring understanding to why you are the way you and how you function in relationships.
