About My Clients

I find that I am the best therapist fit to millennials or young adults who are feeling stuck on phase of life issues, couples and individuals who are looking to enhance their relationships, and those looking to build stronger self-esteem and self-worth. I also have a passion and experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community in living as their most authentic selves.

My Background and Approach

As a mental health counselor, I have worked in a college counseling center, a medical practice as part of a neuropsychology department, and in private practice. My experience with a wide range of clients has taught me that every client is unique and therefore requires a unique approach. My general approach considers clients as the expert in their life, with my role as a guide to help uncover negative patterns and work towards positive change. I tend to utilize humor in my approach and personalize the treatment to the indivual’s needs. I draw on psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioral psychological theories in my work.
