About My Clients

I see people with a range of sexual, relationship, and gender identities and experiences, including LGBQIQA2S, BDSM, sexual variations, non-monogamy, non binary genders and fluidity, and sex workers. I work through sexuality/gender/relationship related concerns, and support those folks with the other aspects of their inner and outer worlds. I focus on trauma , body image, disability, impulse control, depression, anxiety, boundaries, esteem, empowerment, substance use, relationships, build skills

My Background and Approach

I approach this work collaboratively, supporting folks as they engage in their therapy experience. I integrate a variety of treatment approaches to create a holistic style that includes your history, values, identities, goals, and areas for growth and change along with the relationship we build. Together, we can support you in connecting to yourself and aid you in participating authentically and comfortably. You may have experienced relationships or situations where there were a lot of rules, pressures, expectations, and sometimes violence related to what you could do or how you could be. It could have been a structured family (or a really unstructured one), a relationship, an employer/employee relationship, living in the community you are in, or other immersive experiences that you are leaving, have left, or are adjusting to. I enjoy working with you to access your identities, assert your boundaries, and connect to your supportive communities and the spaces around you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In my practice and in my world, I acknowledge and work to address systematic and environmental barriers and oppression. I identify as a white, queer, Jewish, gender non-conforming, differently-abled woman and I strive to bring humility and care as I engage with my local and general communities. I am a long time sex educator and sexuality advocate, and have spent over 20 years addressing challenges to expressing all aspects of consensual sexuality in comfortable, safe authentic ways. I join in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, and with protestors advocating for justice for those experiencing the impacts of systemic impression, particularly black people.
