I believe that you know you best! You are essentially my boss and you tell me what you want to work on. I don't place judgement on your actions and I'll be your sounding board with any issue that comes up.
I have level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training and am finishing level 2 of this approach. This is a heavily researched approach that helps couples improve communication and build a stronger connection. We will also work on identifying where you may get stuck in fights and have efficient conflict resolution.
I am a certified Prepare Enrich trainer and facilitator to help those dating or engaged. We will cover various aspects of healthy relationships and explore your strengths and areas of growth.
I have intensive training in DBT. I use both talk therapy and workbooks in session. You will consistently have homework and ways to practice what you learn in session in your daily life to reinforce your new skills.
I am a certified Prepare Enrich Facilitator and Trainer for those dating, engaged, married, or blending families. I have training in levels 1, 2, 3 of Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I have worked with couples in the LGBTQIA+ community. I am affirming of all relationships. We will work on communication, conflict resolution, finances, leisure activities, family & friend relationships, sexual expectations, religion/spirituality (if applicable), and personal stressors.
I have intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). We will work to build coping skills, explore your situation at hand, and help you to change your thoughts. We will explore mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. If you struggle with self-harm, we will work to find better ways to deal with your pain.
I have training and personal experience with anxiety and perfectionism. We will identify triggers for anxiety, explore thought patterns and how to improve them. We will find ways to ease your anxiety and develop coping skills for when you feel overwhelmed. As a fellow Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I understand how intense over-stimulation can be.
