My style of therapy is a unique blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. CBT is a psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change negative thoughts that have a destructive influence on behavior and emotions. Solution focused therapy is a goal oriented approach that focuses on the future and solving human problems. We will identify and utilize strengths, skills, resources and coping abilities to find individual solutions that resolve problems causing emotional distress and disruption in your life. My specialties include, but are not limited to, treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma history, relationship issues and stress management. During the first session, a client can expect a non-judgmental conversation about what brought them to seek treatment. We will begin developing rapport and a therapeutic alliance.
