About My Clients
Currently accepting new clients for virtual appointments which allow flexibility and convenience while maintaining confidentiality. I work with adults of all ages providing individual and family therapy. As a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with 15 years of experience, I am thankful for the opportunity to help clients live healthier, happier and more successful lives by assisting them with resolving issues that may be holding them back from reaching their potential.
My Background and Approach
My style of therapy is a unique blend of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. CBT is a psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change negative thoughts that have a destructive influence on behavior and emotions. Solution focused therapy is a goal oriented approach that focuses on the future and solving human problems. We will identify and utilize strengths, skills, resources and coping abilities to find individual solutions that resolve problems causing emotional distress and disruption in your life. My specialties include, but are not limited to, treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma history, relationship issues and stress management. During the first session, a client can expect a non-judgmental conversation about what brought them to seek treatment. We will begin developing rapport and a therapeutic alliance.
