About My Clients
I have a passion for helping children, teens, and young adults (18-35) transform their lives and achieve their goals. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, stress management, behavioral issues in children and teens, parenting challenges, cultural and diversity challenges, LGBTQIA+, and overall personal growth.
My Background and Approach
I use a variety of evidence-based practices to equip you with the skills needed to take on life’s challenges. At the same time, I will empower you and help you gain insight into the resources you already have. I incorporate ACT, DBT, and attachment-based approaches. I believe that gaining insight into the sources of the challenges that brought you here will help you create the life that you want to live. I am also a Registered Play Therapist and use both directive and non-directive play for healing in children and teens. Play therapy uses the child's language (play) to help them work through their difficulties.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was born in Bangkok, Thailand and moved to Los Angeles, CA when I was 5 years. I am a military spouse…meaning I had to adapt to many new situations and challenges. My goal for all my clients is that they would have a safe space to experience a powerful transformation in themselves and their relationships. I believe that having an authentic and collaborative relationship is essential in our work together. I show my personality through my practice, and I will laugh and cry with you. I use a variety of evidence-based practices to equip you with the skills needed to take on life’s challenges. At the same time, I will empower you and help you gain insight into the resources you already have. The greatest gift in this profession is for me to help people develop a fulfilling and meaningful life.
