About My Clients
If you are trying to understand why things keep happening, how to break a vicious cycle in your life, or you are just feeling stuck and need to feel heard and help with moving forward-- I can help. I help many people who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, family issues, and career/ work related issues move forward and find relief from their symptoms through EMDR, Person centered therapy, solution focused therapy, and couples therapy. We also provide wellness services!
My Background and Approach
Many people come to me and tell me about the exhaustion they feel, the low motivation, the constant fatigue, the headaches, the stress on their mind and body, the constant thinking and worrying, and how they are sick and tired, of being sick and tired. I help people understand where these stressors, emotions, and sensations might be coming from and use an evidence based practice, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and solid therapeutic work to help alleviate these symptoms, and change the way we think about things, feel about things and react to things to make life easier and better. I know how daunting it can be to talk to someone about some of the most vulnerable and difficult things in our lives, but I can help you through this and you do not have to do this on your own. In my office, I provide safety, warmth, and compassion as I walk with you on your journey of growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I wholeheartedly believe that we are all here trying to make sense of our lives and this world, and it is beneficial to have someone who can provide quality care for our mental health and growth. I continue to try to serve our undeserved populations as well, and give back by providing reduced fee services to clients in need through Open Path, and to emerging mental health professionals. My work experience includes working on a psychiatric inpatient unit, providing care to clients in their most vulnerable times of need. I am passionate about advocating for your health and care about providing an excellent experience in therapy, because I know first hand what terrible therapy feels like, and what great supportive therapy feels like.
