About My Clients
I commend you for your bravery and look forward to our journey together. I strive to provide a judgment-free and collaborative environment to guide you while you build the tools for a better wellbeing. We will work together to identify and address your concerns in order to foster the change you are searching for in your life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Florida and Colorado as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado.
My Background and Approach
I have over 9 years of clinical experience in treating mental health and addiction. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with issues related to life’s challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, self-esteem, addiction, divorce, relationship issues, and aging in older adults. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming where I majored in Psychology. I furthered my education at State University of New York at Albany where I earned my master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in gerontology (older adults). I have vast experience in providing treatment in a variety of settings, including school-based individual and group therapy services for middle and high school students, community-based services, inpatient hospital, and crisis services in an emergency department.
