Psychodynamic therapy is about helping people identify underlying patterns that keep them stuck in negative emotions/behaviors/beliefs. I guide my clients by helping them discover what’s going on beneath the surface of things. Many times people do find that their current issues are very much connected to things that happened in the past. This type of therapy is all about getting to the root of our problems.

Art therapy is a treatment modality that uses art materials and the creative process to deepen self-awareness, promote self-regulation, and facilitate healing. As a trained art therapist, I will provide structured guidance using the materials you have on-hand to create art interventions that target your therapeutic needs. There is absolutely no artistic skill required in order to participate in art therapy.

At the foundation of my approach is the belief that all of us ultimately want to move towards growth and healing. Even in behaviors that cause us to feel stuck or unhappy, I see them as opportunities to create change and find fulfillment in being our most authentic selves.

Brainspotting is a body-brain approach that uses somatic cues (a person's eye positions) to locate and process deep-seated and sometimes preverbal negative events and trauma.

Developed by Dr. John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, the Gottman Method is a research-based approach that helps couples improve verbal communication, increase mutual respect and intimacy, address relationship barriers, and increase empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a type of therapy that uses eye movements and auditory and tactile stimuli to help the brain process traumatic events. It is an effective way to help shift negative feelings and beliefs to more adaptive and positive ones.
