About My Clients
I work with women who are carrying more than most people see — single mothers, survivors of intimate partner violence, and women managing bipolar disorder, anxiety, and ADHD. My clients are resilient, but resilience does not mean you have to figure everything out alone. If you have ever felt like your needs were too complex or too layered for one space, this practice was built with you in mind. I understand that healing does not happen separately from the rest of your life. The weight of parenti
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Master of Science degree, licensed since March 2026. My clinical work focuses on trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and intimate partner violence recovery. I work exclusively with women and bring evidence-based practice and genuine investment to every session. My approach is strengths-based and grounded in CBT, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation. I focus on helping clients understand their patterns, build practical skills, and develop lasting internal resources. For IPV survivors, I offer a safe space to heal at your own pace while rebuilding confidence and agency. For clients managing bipolar disorder, anxiety, or ADHD, I balance skill-building with deeper emotional work. For single mothers, I help you make your mental health a priority without guilt. As an LCDC, I also address the intersection of substance use and mental health, treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe quality mental health care is a right, not a privilege. The women who need support most are often the ones facing the greatest barriers to getting it, and that reality shapes everything I do. I am committed to serving Black women and women of color who are too often undertreated or made to feel their pain is not worthy of attention. Cultural context matters in therapy, and I bring humility and awareness into every session. I am passionate about reducing mental health stigma in communities where asking for help has long been seen as a weakness. Seeking support is an act of courage, and I take that trust seriously. I am also committed to domestic violence awareness and believe deeply in uplifting single mothers who are healing while simultaneously showing up for their children every day. I bring my values, my compassion, and my full self to this work — and a genuine belief that every woman I work with is capable of healing and worthy of a meaningful life.
