When working on creating better relationships with partners, colleagues, or family members, non-violent communication is essential. I'll introduce the basics, you'll practice, and begin implementing it in your own life.
Mindfulness is an incredibly valuable tool in almost all treatments. Whether it's sitting mediation, "baking meditation" (it's true), yoga, or simple mantras, we'll work together to see how mindfulness can work for you.
I specialize in using CBT to treat low self-esteem, depression, anxiety in youth and young adults.
Most importantly, I provide a warm, safe, fun space where I hope you will feel comfortable sharing your inner thoughts. In addition, I use self-compassion tools, behavior modifications, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you increase your self-esteem. You are worthy and loved!
Whether you have a history of depression or are experiencing depression for the first time, it can be debilitating. When we begin working together, we will work to understand the root of the depression while treating the depression at the same time. Treating depression takes a mix of approaches depending on the individual. We'll talk about your sleep habits and substance use, try different modalities like CBT and mindfulness, and keep checking in until we find what works.
