About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who is open and willing to collaborate throughout the therapeutic process. I hope to create an environment that allows the client to explore and grow, while providing affirming care.
My Background and Approach
My strong work ethic, flexibility and self-motivation are reflected not only in my academic achievements but also in my experience as a peer mentor for LGBTQ+ adolescents at GSA Link, Inc. My position as a GSA Linked Mentor provided me with the opportunity to guide and support LGBTQ+ youth through virtual sessions, one on one meetings, and feedback from my Match Coordinator. The remote format of GSA Link allowed me to connect with and support more mentees throughout this past year. Working with GSA Link has motivated me to continue to give back to the community and to grow as an effective counselor.
