I have advanced training in the treatment and management of anxiety disorders. By staying up to date on research and interventions that are proven to positively affect anxious behaviors, working together on anxiety issues can lead to significant improvement.
I've been treating burnout since 2016 and have found proven skill sets and interventions that work quickly for people experiencing overwhelm and exhaustion. This might be work related, caregiver stress and strain, relationships that aren't working anymore, daily exhaustion from being overloaded with tasks and responsibilities. We can work on actions plans to stop the bleeding and get back to balance.

Knowing how the brain interprets information can be helpful when we are suffering from stress and misalignment in our lives. There are valid and practical concepts and skills that can be learned through therapy and applied daily for improved functioning.
We cannot change what we are not aware of and we can be unconsciously ruled by ideas and concepts we have yet to unearth in our psyches. Using mindfulness to become clear on our inner workings, and to attend to stressors can radically change how we live and what we focus on.
Problem solving skills can be damaged by life experiences and intergenerational teachings. Therapy is a great place to discuss issues in a solution focused way where you are in the driver's seat of your life and not the victim of your circumstances.
Doing this work is a spiritual practice for me. I integrate spiritual ideas and practices into sessions as appropriate including Buddhist psychology, tarot, meditation, mindfulness, accessing a higher power and higher self, alignment with nature and finding one's purpose.
