About My Clients

You feel like something is holding you back... whether it’s at work, in your relationship, as a parent, or just in where you thought your life would be by now. For the most part, your life, career, or marriage is ok; but you envision better and you aren’t enjoying your life as much as you know you could. You are stressed and overwhelmed, feeling like no one truly gets it. You are missing depth, connection, and meaning in your relationship and want to feel the bond you and your partner once did.

My Background and Approach

We’ll work collaboratively, focusing and building upon the strengths you already possess and helping you acquire new skills to cope with life stressors in a warm and supportive environment. Together, we’ll work in partnership to help find clarity to situations that hinder your happiness, relationships, and overall satisfaction with your life. I help people to tap into their inner strength to make positive changes in their life and reach personal goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and New Jersey native who completed my Bachelor's Degree at Stockton University with a concentration in child welfare. I attended New York University (NYU) where I earned my Master’s Degree and have received specialized training in child development and trauma, diagnostic evaluation for adult and child mental health disorders, and psychiatric and behavioral health research. I work with children, families, adult individuals, and couples who have an identified struggle and are ready for change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I truly believe in the human capacity for change and have experienced this in my own journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I believe you are the expert on your own life and dreams, and that inviting a therapist into your life is a big decision...one that I do not take lightly. It is not easy to allow yourself to become vulnerable in sharing your inner most thoughts, emotions and personal struggles. In our work together, you will feel at ease knowing you have found someone who cares and that wants to see you succeed. It is my hope that after working together, you will truly feel that you have benefitted as a result, and that you will walk away with the self confidence and skills to be able to thrive in your life, work, and relationships. I am a strong advocate for social justice and support organizations that fight against mental health stigma and equality issues across all genders, ethnicities and sexual orientations. All are welcome in my practice.
