About My Clients

Are you trying to figure out who you are, what you want, and how to get there? Does it seem like you think differently than others, procrastinate too often, are having trouble focusing, and feeling stuck? Starting to question if all the partying is getting in the way of your goals? Ready to blow up your life if things don't change? Got a nagging feeling you may need more support than you currently have? Need clarity on your relationships and help on how to communicate things? Let's get into it.

My Background and Approach

I believe in creating a nonjudgemental space where you can come as you are- not the perfect, polished version you may feel pressure to be in the world. I am passionate about meeting clients in their most pivotal moments and discovering what is standing in the way of getting the life YOU truly want. Some of my specialities include navigating life transitions, identity development, and sorting out what's been limiting you (negative self talk? undiagnosed ADHD? drinking too much? anxious all the time?). I understand how overwhelming it is to search for the right person to talk to, to trust, who gets you and what it's like when that support is missing. My hope is that I can be a grounded, consistent person in your life who really listens, genuinely cares about your dreams and ideas and will help you with identifying the tools needed for success. I believe that therapy is a highly collaborative process and prioritize working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My professional background is grounded in the ethics and values of Social Work, a field that aligned with my personal beliefs. I spent a portion of my career attempting to make a meaningful , albeit small, contribution towards larger social issues such as challenges with housing instability, addiction, and mental health accessibility. I found that the greatest impacts occurred through the 1:1 relationships that were built with others. I greatly value the individuals I have met, both professionally and personally, who have shaped the trajectory of my own life. My clinical approach ties in evidence based practices, lots of lived experience and about twenty years of working in a variety of settings such as psychiatric hospitals, managing programs, navigating large bureaucratic systems, and clinical work in private practice. In my free time, I enjoy tough workouts, nail art, finding the best bakery in any city, quality time with loved ones and being a Sagittarius.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
