About My Clients
Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, or stress and are looking to work on your personal growth? You are strong and have made it to this point all on your own. My role is to guide and support you as you make sense of life’s challenges. Together we will identify goals important to your journey and enhance the strengths you already possess. Your story is special and I am here to listen.
My Background and Approach
Therapy allows you the dedicated space to feel heard and validated. I know what it’s like to wear multiple hats; wife, student, daughter, sister, friend, and feel overwhelmed in giving them all your best. During our time together, we’ll work together to prioritize YOU by having real conversations and incorporating some laughter as well. My Master's degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration on children and adolescents. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, relationship issues, as well as life transitions and self-esteem.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal as a therapist is to make you feel secure and comfortable discussing those thoughts that keep you up at night. Social connection is medicine to our hearts and soul. I am dedicated to providing a space that is open, light-hearted and meaningful. I hope to discuss how values contribute to a more meaningful life because you deserve it. I value advocacy and am a founding member of the chapter at Lewis University Counselors for Social Justice. I have also received a Culture of Philanthropy Award for my efforts in inspiring others to perform at their best.
