I use a trauma-informed integrative approach to help meet clients' needs and goals, which means that I use, and offer, different resources depending on what's needed and when. But it's always all about the therapeutic relationship, listening carefully, and providing a safe non-judgmental space where you can show up however you are. I have an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I also have an MS in Biological and Physical Sciences, and a PhD in Microbiology. I draw from this experience and training, highlighting the mind-body connection, which can be beneficial in working with somatic effects of trauma, physical symptoms and illnesses, STIs, and many of our other layered experiences that come with having bodies. My practice is sex-positive, fat-positive, and queer- and gender-affirming.
I am unable to accept insurance, but I am able to offer a sliding scale depending on income.
