About My Clients
I love working with highly sensitive people and it's my honor to support you in developing your own gifts and owning your authenticity. I also love working with people who struggle with chronic health conditions and offering emotional and trauma-informed support to you.
My Background and Approach
I am here to assist you in your transformation through efficient techniques like hypnotherapy and EMDR. I work intuitively and creatively, and I am a highly sensitive and empathic person myself. After a lot of work, I've figured out how to channel my sensitivity into a gift, and it's empowering for me to share that with others. Once you are feeling grounded in your healing journey, I encourage you to explore dreamwork with me: that means connecting more with your intuition, and creating your future with conscious intention. Together, we can work to clearly articulate the vision you have for yourself and then systemically clear the way forward from those pesky blocks, fears, and limiting beliefs. I went to graduate school at Brown University where I studied philosophy as a Teaching Fellow. Then I went to Boston College for my Masters in Counseling Psychology, concentrating on treating trauma and abuse. I have continued to evolve and train since then, following what resonates most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Personally, I believe that the goal of healing is to ultimately realize that there is nothing to heal. All parts of us can benefit from an attitude of acceptance and compassion. As a therapist, my intention is to offer acceptance and compassion to all parts of you so that you can ultimately internalize that attitude and be completely whole on your own. I believe that most of the work of therapy occurs outside of the session time, when clients take aligned actions based on the advances made during sessions.
