About My Clients
As an LCSW, I have worked with children, teens, young adults and families on empowering each individual to successfully overcome their struggles. I’m here to help you learn tools, find your inner strength, and regain hope when life is challenging by providing creativity, compassion, and empathy. My goal is to collaborate with you while we navigate your mental health journey together and provide you with a nonjudgmental, caring, and safe space.
My Background and Approach
I graduated in 2020 with my Master’s in Social Work and certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work. Over the years, I have worked in a variety of settings including both the school and outpatient settings. I approach the therapeutic process from a client-centered lens by creating a collaborative and safe environment to explore barriers to living a more authentic life. I specialize in animal-assisted therapy, and (when in person) often partner with my certified therapy dog, Nalu. I offer a variety of different modalities that best fits the client including CBT, DBT, MI, TF-CBT, IFS, mindfulness, art and narrative therapy. I also specialize in anxiety/depression, increasing self-esteem, establishing positive/ healthy peer relationships, and learning coping skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the ability to be their true self while living their most authentic life. During life, there are times when we may need to connect with others who will help guide us in the unpredictable moments that may cause struggle. I’m here to help you learn tools, find your inner strength, and regain hope when life is challenging by providing creativity, compassion, and empathy. My goal is to collaborate with you while we navigate your mental health journey together and provide you with a nonjudgmental, caring, and safe space.
