About My Clients
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, such as a new job, a new relationship, or loss a loved one? These may be very common situations in life, but it can still be difficult coping with any of these things and anything additional life throws at you. I can help you through your struggles as you embark on your journey in life. I believe in listening to your story, understand your cultural background, and meeting where you are at in the moment.
My Background and Approach
Marie (She/her) identifies as a first-generation Vietnamese American woman. Marie has been in the healthcare field for over 10 years and a psychotherapist for the last 3 years. Marie has experience with working with mood disorders (anxiety, depression, bipolar), life transitions, and grief/loss due to medical conditions. Marie believes combining cultural competence and understanding Client's background while creating a safe space to share the Client's story. Marie uses CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused, Strength Based, and Narrative to provide a diverse set of skills catering to each Client's situation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Marie believes in igniting the Client's Self-Determination and Self-Empowerment during the Client's journey of healing. Acknowledging that professional help is necessary is a powerful and brave first step. Outside of work, Marie enjoys music, art, and exploring Atlanta and other states.
