About My Clients
You may be trapping yourself in repeated cycles of choices that though familiar, leave you feeling stuck, tired, frustrated and anxious. Perhaps your well-intentioned decisions have inadvertently led to overwhelming anxiety, stress and exhausting burnout. Perhaps you're beginning to ask yourself significant questions such as "Why I am so busy yet I can't accomplish anything? Am I in the right relationship, career, city? And, who AM I?"
My Background and Approach
Human beings are made up of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realm. I take a look at all these dimensions in bridging the mind-body connection and using a holistic approach to your healing. I provide concrete guidance and productive feedback in each session, as well as tools and skills that I will encourage you to practice in-between our sessions. We will review them together, noting what has worked and what areas need encouragement to overcome resistance. I hold you accountable in a supportive and encouraging way. I will support you and expect you to commit to your healing. I often check in about therapy, reviewing what is working, what is helpful, and what needs to change so that you may reach your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I find that people often struggle because they assume they are not supposed to. I help my clients understand our humanity, how anxiety and stress is part of the human experience, and that anxiety and stress may also be managed positively. I believe that people are good and forward-thinking and if given a nonjudgmental, supportive and encouraging environment, they thrive and grow to overcome their difficulties. The tools I offer my clients are the same skills I commit to practicing myself. I appreciate my daily self-care which includes yoga, nourishing meals, time in nature and meditation. I also enjoy taking regular family trips, anything from a weekend getaway in the mountains to adventures across the globe to visit my family in Poland.
