About My Clients
Emotional safety is paramount when helping clients process their trauma, work through complex emotions, and address maladaptive behaviors. Therefore, I hold space for clients to be vulnerable and share their sacred stories with compassionate intention. When people feel seen and heard, secure in the therapeutic alliance, they become transformational alchemists, transcending limiting beliefs and open to exploring new ways to utilize their unique strengths and live life fully.
My Background and Approach
Through a trauma-informed, cross-cultural perspective, I creatively integrate somatic and experiential therapies, mindfulness principles, and holistic practices to create a balanced, whole-person approach to healing and personal growth. My therapeutic style is collaborative and dynamic, emphasizing the intimate relationship between the human body and psychological well-being. Learning to listen and trust our body’s innate wisdom is an effective strategy for building self-trust and self-worth, two critical components of a healthy relationship with our authentic Self. I encourage clients to use body-centered exercises, visualization, and artistic expression to find their voice and reconceptualize their fears with a more direct approach.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Trauma experienced in childhood influences our beliefs and behaviors, causing emotional distress, mental health challenges, and difficulty in intimate relationships. Mindfulness and somatic healing methods can help release emotions trapped in the body and help individuals better manage their emotional states while fostering greater self-compassion and a healthier connection with Self and others. The therapeutic relationship is vital to a successful treatment outcome. I would be pleased to join you on your emotional health and wellness journey.
