About My Clients
I offer individual counseling sessions to adults of all ages who are dealing with anxiety and difficult life transitions. My other interests include working with veterans, college-aged students, and anyone who struggles with trauma.
My Background and Approach
As a counselor, my goal is to create a welcoming, accepting, and respectful environment for all of my clients. I am looking to help people become accepting of who they are and to be proud of that. My goal is to help you work through challenges and feelings by creating a supportive and respectful environment where you can speak honestly about what you’re going through. For clients who experience self-doubt and uncertainty, we’ll work on becoming more confident and accepting of who you are. We’ll work on establishing boundaries, respect, and appreciation for who you are. Part of the counseling process will include introducing practical coping strategies that you can apply between sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy can be enjoyable, and that laughter can be just as beneficial as traditional therapeutic techniques. While therapy can include difficult discussions my hope is that you can also find enjoyment in it through connection as well. Therefore, I want to facilitate a welcoming space that is genuinely uplifting to be in. I hope to be fortunate enough to meet you and aid you on your journey!
