About My Clients

These are odd and bewildering times. Just facing the day can feel overwhelming–let alone pasting on a smile. If you no longer feel real joy, I get it, and I can help. You’re at the right place. Current patients are women in their fertile years, children (even raised 6 of my own!), through senior years. You’ve courageously taken that first step to purge your demons. I’ve been there myself. Together, let’s tear down the barriers between you and the life you so richly deserve.

My Background and Approach

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I offer a patient-centered approach to mental health care. With a background as a women's health practitioner, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to my psychiatric practice. My extensive training in women's health allows me to understand and address the complex interplay between physical and mental health, particularly in relation to reproductive and hormonal issues. Medication management is balanced with integrative psychiatry to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to care. My approach considers the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects of an individual's life when providing care. I use a variety of evidence-based treatments, such as medication management, talk therapy, and natural supplements, to address mental health concerns. I also offer complementary therapies, mindfulness, and movement-based therapies to enhance traditional treatments and promote overall well-being.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I understand that mental health concerns can manifest differently in different people and that these concerns are often deeply intertwined with their physical, emotional, and social well-being. My experience in women's health enables me to provide care sensitive to individuals' unique needs and offer various treatment options tailored to their specific concerns. I am committed to a patient-centered practice and believe that medication management should be evidence-based and that patients should have a say in their medications and treatment goals. I specialize and believe in the art of medication management for psychiatry. I understand that medication can be essential in treating mental health concerns, but it is only one piece of the puzzle. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, empathetic, and evidence-based care to my patients of all genders and ages within the realm of a strong therapeutic alliance.
