My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally inclusive. In therapy, we’ll talk about what’s been difficult for you and address your challenges with the aim of increasing awareness, flexibility, and adaptability. We’ll collaborate in this process together so that you can experience more fulfillment in your relationships and activities. I find it helpful to identify important patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; the factors that are in your control, the factors that are not in your control; and the different ways we may respond to challenges in each of these areas.
