Depression is not meant to be handled alone. To overcome depression, I may look at your protective factors, break down intergenerational patterns and provide solutions as to how you can best heal and gain a healthier version of you.

Trauma can impact not only the brain, but also the body. You may find yourself still in a fight or flight mode. Trauma work takes time, and it is important the client is ready to explore the reasons trauma may still be a big part of their life.

Working with art can improve one's sense of well-being and generate self-awareness. Combining art and talk therapy can help a client to process heavy emotions, minimize stress and give a voice to emotions not easily vocalized.

I often use CBT in working with clients to help decrease automatic negative thoughts, understand core beliefs and modify maladaptive behaviors. CBT can allow for a client to become more self-aware of irrational beliefs or thoughts while generating healthier coping skills.

I understand how debilitating anxiety can be. I grew up experiencing panic attacks and developed a fear of closed spaces. It took a desire to want to address factors contributing to the anxiety with a trained therapist so that I could move forward. I am invested in helping you conquer your anxiety so that you can feel more confident in anxiety driven situations.

Working on life transitions can present change that may or may not be voluntary. You may struggle with the loss of a loved one, a change in family dynamics or simply be entering a new phase of life. I'd like to help you work through whatever life transition you may be faced with so that you may have the tools needed to heal or gain confidence.
