About My Clients

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Clinically Certified Grief Specialist meaning I have had adequate training in areas of trauma and grief work. I work with individuals 18+ and specialize in areas such as: trauma, grief and loss, perfectionism, stress, life transitions, chronic pain, relationship conflict, self-discovery, anxiety and depression.

My Background and Approach

Life is full of stressors, challenges and barriers to living fully authentic and whole lives. I believe that finding our way back to ourselves is key to improving our overall wellbeing. Whether you are struggling with managing stress, relationship conflicts, balancing multiple roles and expectations or healing from past trauma, we can all work towards reconnecting with ourselves if we are willing to try. I believe you are the expert in yourself and that therapy gets to be what you need it to be, my goal is to support and guide you along the way. I aim to always be present, engaged and will offer both accountability and affirmation. The name Pacific Peak Counseling comes from growing up in the pacific northwest and my life long love of the mountains that surround us. I find mountains to be an extraordinary example of both the scary challenges that may seem too difficult to climb and the beauty that often comes on the other side of those challenges.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I utilize the power of curiosity as a tool to get to know and connect more deeply with you. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the healing that can come from being in connection in a safe, reliable and affirming environment. Life can feel so lonely at times, but I promise you do not have to be alone on your journey to healing. I graduated from Central Washington University with my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. I was drawn to this field of work through my own personal experiences with mental health and my deep passion and care for others. After graduating I spent two years working at a long-term inpatient facility for women in recovery from drugs and alcohol. While there, I learned about the resilience of the human spirit, I believe that if we are open and willing to try we are capable of anything.
