About My Clients
Many times, we feel there must be something “wrong” with us, when we’re simply experiencing a very normal response to untypical circumstances, such as death of a loved one, starting a new phase of life, or dealing with anything else life throws our way. I believe every person has a story to tell and will honor your journey every step of the way (even if you feel like you’re stepping backwards).
My Background and Approach
I take a person-centered, relational, and strengths-based approach. I'm committed to understanding each person as an individual with their own abilities and concerns. I completed her Master’s in Social Work at West Chester University and before joining The Therapy Group, provided therapy to young adults and adults through a health system. I'm excited and honored to work with you on your healing journey, wherever that may take you. I use multiple different therapy modalities, such as somatic approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to assist with feeling safe, living a meaningful life, and acknowledging and creating your life story. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and will work with you on finding an approach that resonates. My focus is to listen without judgement and provide a warm, calming space where each client feels comfortable to truly be themselves. I show up in session as my true authentic self and I love to utilize humor alongside her
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I was diagnosed with ADHD in high school and have since developed a passion for working with neurodivergent individuals. I operate from a Neurodiversity-Affirming approach, believing that neurodiversity should be celebrated. I aim to create a space where all can feel welcome to express any concerns and believe therapy should be a process where you're able to feel empowered.
