About My Clients
I support smart, insightful, empathic people who are working through feelings about their sexuality, relationships, and identity. I work frequently with those in the international aid field and folks who cope with high levels of mobility, stress, and trauma in their careers. Sex-positivity, LGBTQIA+, polyamory, ethical non-monogamy, sex work, kink, sexual trauma, power dynamics, genital pain, sexual discomfort, shame, differing levels of desire within relationships, and more.
My Background and Approach
In practice since 2015, I have worked in NYC, Istanbul, and Geneva, Switzerland. As an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, I work with a wide variety of sexual health concerns and relationships. In our work together, we will process your experiences with kindness and identify patterns and thoughts that are no longer working for you. Our goals will come from you, and we will work in a supportive way to create the changes you are seeking. I listen without judgment and ask questions to illuminate your unconscious beliefs and desires. We will utilize specific therapeutic tools to help us understand your relationship and thought patterns. I use a systems approach, bringing awareness to the structures around us that contribute to today. I am committed to a collaborative relationship with my clients, you are the expert on your experience. I hold space for your feelings and create room for expression.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A specific focus on pleasure - Prioritizing pleasure as part of healing and living. Many of us are conditioned to associate erotic and somatic pleasure with shame and fear. In our work together, we will reconnect with your ideas of pleasure, and ground ourselves in the knowledge that our own unique feelings and experiences of pleasure are normal. Our world often sees things in a very binary, specific way. This means that many of us do not see ourselves represented in the spaces around us. My work is grounded in the belief that there is nothing pathological about our individual experiences, but that the systems we live in often fail to hold us.
