I graduated from Walden University in 2015 with a Master’s in mental health counseling. I went on to pursue a specialty at Grand Canyon University and completed a one-year program in Crisis and Trauma in 2019. I have worked in community mental health and substance abuse facilities. I absolutely love to learn and love to provide counseling services but choose not to work for an agency because I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of working on my own terms. Before pursuing a career in mental health I worked as a sexual assault victim advocate, advocated for children in foster-care, worked with domestic violence survivors, and continue donate time to suicide awareness organizations. I have a passion for working with folks who feel unheard or are marginalized.
