Many of our clients reach out when they are feeling misunderstood or unheard, overwhelmed with life, difficulty with past memories, childhood traumatic experiences, difficulty focusing at work, school or at home, lack of motivation, difficulty sleeping, problem solving and not feeling like themselves. We provide our clients with specialized treatment and practical strategies to reduce symptoms and cope with their experiences.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Creswell earned her master’s degree in music therapy from Loyola University New Orleans and a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University/Washington DC. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Licensed Professional Music Therapist in Maryland. Dr. Creswell is a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor and maintains the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential. She provides supervision for interns, pre-licensed and licensed clinicians. She also serves as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at the Washington DC Campus. Dr. Creswell has a wealth of knowledge in trauma, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, individual and group therapy.

Dr. Creswell is dedicated to creating therapeutic relationships that are collaborative and nurturing. She is devoted to providing an affirming and inclusive experience within the practice. Allowing individuals to feel safe, secure and protected in an environment for individuals who identify in the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Dr. Creswell believes developing your strengths in a collaborative manner will foster a safe space to move through your experiences in a thoughtful, nurturing way at your pace.
