About My Clients

Can you see yourself with this kind of help? I seek to empower you to consider how you want to deal with the storms in your life. I provide support, transparency, and confrontation mixed with curiosity. I focus on being authentic to give you permission to do the same. I respect that you are the expert in living your life. My main goal is to empower and support you in your work.

My Background and Approach

After 20 years in special education, I went back to school for masters in counseling. I have worked with coming-of-age topics, anxiety and depression, shame, relationships, intimacy, LGBTQ concerns, and change in general. My approach is humanistic, person-centered, developmental, and trauma-informed, with exposure to existential and Internal Family Systems approaches as well. I offer brainspotting for interested clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am here to offer you a grounded, secure presence for the work you have come to do. I believe therapy is a chance to pause in the rush of life to explore what we think and feel from a still and quiet place. It can be an empowering tool for feeding personal growth, challenging barriers, and reigniting dreams. I believe we are all capable of change, that change can be hard, and that change is easier with help.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
