About My Clients
I have experience working with clients who have struggled with a variety of mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorder, etc. I have a background in working with adults diagnosed with substance use disorders who also battled mental illness. I have primarily worked with adults however, I have some experience working with adolescents.
My Background and Approach
I use a person centered approach in counseling with my clients to meet their individual needs. In addition, I also utilize other therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy is a great first step in committing to make a positive life change for yourself. Life experiences and negative thought processes can have a direct impact on an individuals mental health and it is up to ourselves to address the issues we are facing to obtain optimal life satisfaction.
