If you have been feeling off for a while now and may need help figuring out the reason behind your feelings of anger, anxiety, or sadness, I would love to come along side of you and help make sense of your feelings and experiences. If you are worried about a loved one, especially an adolescent or young adult, I would love to engage them in a therapeutic process that they will find relief and enjoyment from.
My Background and Approach
You don't have to worry about feeling judged because of your thoughts or feelings anymore. I aim to create a space that is nonjudgemental and engaging. I especially enjoy creating an atmosphere where hesitant adolescents and young adults want to keep coming back to. In my experience as a child and adolescent therapist, I have seen success in working with clients who are unsure about coming to therapy in the first place. My approach includes meeting the client where they are at, and making therapy something that they want to engage in for themselves. I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Treatment for Complex Trauma, Trauma-Focused CBT, and general supportive therapy. One of my greatest joys of being a therapist include seeing client's who were initially resistant to therapy come in enthusiastically and finding healing from the process.
