About My Clients
Anxiety seems to be everywhere as we live in unusual, uncertain times. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and confused by life. We often spend time and money trying to answer WHY questions: “Why can’t I enjoy social gatherings?” Why can’t I enjoy things today? ” Improvement and change require resources, both internal and external. It's my job to help you access the ones you already have.
My Background and Approach
For those suffering from anxiety, the best course of action is to seek treatment from a therapist. Therapy is effective and may add years to your life. My goal is to do the opposite of what anxiety demands: be clear, and concrete, and offer a plan. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR and provide psychoeducation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Everyone needs support. I enjoy being that person- someone who will listen, support, and gently challenge thought habits. I believe that everyone has the resources within them to achieve their potential. I am a native Oregonian and enjoy being outdoors, watching the seasons change, and helping others see the best in themselves. I strive to create a safe space and inclusive environment where all are welcome, respected, and heard.
